Louise Dickinson
As a teenager, with a love for biology and an acute acne condition; Louise became interested in how the skin works, which cosmetic products made a difference and WHY. Through working with her own condition and trying almost every acne product on the market, she discovered a passion for beauty therapy, specifically skin science. Gaining her International Qualification in New Zealand, she started her 8 year long international career in London. Louise worked in 5 Star Hotels and Spas and catered to “A” list celebrities all over London. Her big break presented itself at Urban Retreat, Harrods, one of the world’s largest and most luxurious spas, where she successfully filled the Managerial roll of overseeing a team of highly skilled Beauty Therapists. Louise moved back to New Zealand with a wealth of international expertise and opened the first Chrysalis salon in 2006. Over the last decade, Louise and her team have dedicated themselves to post-graduate education, specializing in Needling, IPL, Skin Peels and Internal Health. Their commitment to achieving amazing results for their clients, has led to multiple wins in the NZ Beauty Industry Awards, and has showcased the Salon and the team on the international stage, striking gold at the Danne Montague King excellence awards.
